The Hearing-Aid Compatibility Act of 1988 requires that telephone sets be compatible with hearing aids. CCL has developed a measurement probe to assist in the making of magnetic field intensity measurements as required by the FCC and Canada. The specified pick-up coil has been mounted in a probe that places the pick-up coil in the axial and radial orientations at the proper distances from the telephone set receiver. The model HAC 100 includes an Axial Test Probe, a Radial Test Probe, Instruction Manual and Storage Bag.
